It helps, naturally, that the new condo listings in the Meatpacking District are so distinguished. Superior Ink, with its LEED Silver Certification and a prime location overlooking the Hudson River, is one of the most desirable eco-friendly condo listings in New York City, and such new construction condos as The Gansevoort and 385 West 12th Street offer similar luxury on a smaller scale. The Meatpacking District has come a long way from those not-so-long-ago meat-packing days, and a wealth of promising new Meatpacking District condominiums suggest that the Meatpacking District condo boom is a long way from over.
